Mary I feel the same. Why did I not find a site like this years ago! It did not exist, I know, but still. Back when I could work in the garden all day, and not moan all night because of it. I truly did not realize so many people had so many gorgeous iris. I am agog at the breathtaking photos.

Sorry Mary Ann, I knew there was another part to your name, but if I looked it up, I would have to redo my message. Too tired to do that. I love your user name. Clever, creative, and totally appropriate to a gardener. My grandmother should have called me that (instead of what she called me) when I told her one summer morning that I was too sick to go to church, but she found me later, making mud pies. Muddy Mitts. Oh -- that's OK Cleta -- this happens a lot. Most people don't use their middle name as part of their name -- I do -- how could you know? And I hate having to redo messages, don't you?

But -- incidentally -- I just recently learned that you don't have to lose your message. If you use the back arrow to go back to the message you want to, and then use the forward arrow to come back to your message, you usually can. It's sort of like a miracle!!! I think internet miracles are wonderful!!!

Thanks for your nice comments about my *name*. It really describes the situation here in Kentucky. I never would have thought of it when I lived in northern Illinois!!!! But it sure suits the situation here!
