Bree, good to hear from you and love the Catt and Vanda show. That last picture of Vanda Chang Siew Fong is excellent.

Elaine, it did not take long for my nobile type Dendrobium to grow into the monster it is today. Make sure it gets lots of light.

Glen, thanks for the view from downunder. Please feel free to join in anytime.

Out in the OC, a group of dancing ladies is performing:

And blue ribbon winner Dendrobium spectabile amazingly continues to open new flowers. It seems like it has been blooming for months.

I agree Me too! That rosy little Phrag looks like a pair of satin lined ballet slippers. Lovely.

Fantastic show too, Jim. Does anyone else imagine Salvador Dali designing an orchid and coming up with Den. Spectabile ? It's magnificent and fascinating but truly . . . bizarre!

I'm going to park all my Cyms out under the oak trees for the summer and leave them to their own devices. Maybe next year they'll bloom like Jim's.

All are nice, Ursula, but my favorite is the Odontoglossum.

I just hit the EFile button and this year's taxes are history. What a relief to get that burden off of my back.

Sounds great! Thumbs up

You know, I got the Odontoglossum last year from Ecuagenera, they had a gorgeous plant in their greenhouse in bloom and I was happy that I was able to get a small plant of that.

Hm, they are all exquisite, but I'd have to go with the Encyclia for such a graceful habit.

My Enc.s are usually putting up buds by now, but only one is showing signs of a spike.

My E. cordigera just opened the first buds this week (3spikes). No sign of spikes on bractescens or alata though.

Bree, that is a very lovely Cattleya! Lovey dubby Lovey dubby just beautiful!

Elaine, I remember when you got it, nice to see it blooming! I lost my Kryptonite 'Ursula' a couple of years ago, but I just had to replace it and I now have a very small plant, surely a few more seasons away from blooming.
