Stage Presence and Honorable Lord just keeps talking to me! I sure hope my Bravery blooms this year. It's one that's doing good, so I'm hoping it pops some blooms for me. I had Lemon Cloud But it died before it could bloom. It's really nice too. Lucy, I like that yellow seedling. Are you going to introduce it?

Isn't it just the softest, butteriest beauty, Mary Ann? I don't care much for yellows, but that one is going on my list. nodding

That's it for me, Tom. I don't have many amoenas. I added a few last year. I have a few bi-colors that have pastel colored standards or falls, but not many with white. Shrug!

I love amoenas. I did not realize how much until all these have been posted on this thread. I have added a couple to my orders.

OK, I did it, and it's all your fault! Mostly Greg's for posting those pictures in the data base, but also for all you guys leaving me high and dry for iris pic! I went and sent an order to France for the following Cayeux irises.

Grande Coquette (This is the one that got me started, but I couldn't just order one now could I) Shrug!
Domino Noir (I see Greg just posted a pic of it recently)
Au Sommet
Dietmar Brixy
Petit Tigre (Intermediate)

Now I can go apply for food stamps Rolling on the floor laughing

No, you couldn't just order one--you have to justify the shipping costs, right? Big Grin

Oh -- absolutely -- no way you're gonna spend all of those shipping dollars on just ONE Iris!!

Congratulations Tom -- now I can't wait for NEXT year -- and this year isn't even here yet!!! Whistling

I'm going to dedicate a new iris bed to my 3 passed Schnauzers. It will run parallel to the other new bed I made last year along the drive way. There is a peony planted at the head of each grave, and I'll plant irises between them, and maybe a Day Lilly at each end. It will be long and narrow.

Since they were miniature schnauzers, I'll have to include a few mini's as well I'm sure. I also have a garden art statue of a schnauzer I'll have to include. See, I knew there was a reason to buy more irises.

That sounds real nice, Tom -- what a wonderful way to celebrate the lives of three dogs that you loved. Love to see a picture when you've got it done..... Smiling

Oh -- just had a thought -- you could pick only Irises that have the word *love* in their names? Must be lots of them.
