Hetty, your yard must be gorgeus! I still have 2 year old cuttings that have not bloomed. Keeping my fingers crossed that they will bloom this year.

That's the best overload.....more Leis..to make.

I attended a wedding a few years ago (before I discovered the plummie world) in St Pete FL where the theme was Hawaiian. Bride has real leis as a crown and necklace but everyone else including bridesmaids have fake leis.

Once I have more plummie blooms, I want to give this very nice couple real leis....

Finally my pudica, one of my most prolific bloomers, started flowering pretty again. It's been a year since I last saw blooms. Very unusual, but at least it's in the mood again:

Very pretty flowers, Ive. I found out this is one plumeria that simply will not overwinter completely dormant, without water, soil or light. The stems are just too thin to recover from the dehydration that always occurs during those 4-5 months inside.

Ken, it was my fault. A landscaper not familiar with plumeria took the initiative to hard prune it when it wasn't neccesary. At least not the way he did it, anyway! All I wanted was my grass cut. Crying

Usually I don't let any of my plummies be touched by other people, just me. Hilarious!

Anyway. Pudicas grow so well here in S. Florida, with very little care. It kept producing lovely blooms until the mishap. At any rate, I'm happy my TLC is paying off, finally.

Yep, your and my growing conditions are extremely different, at least when fall rolls around.

This Plumeria we call *25* because my DH gave it to me for our 25th anniversary. I am pretty sure it is 'Plastic Pink' aka 'Royal Hawaiian' but it was unnamed at the time we bought it.
