I’m getting some plants like are shady/partial sun in the backyard.

I’ve tried seeds, but it didn’t grow. I think it’s because of two things:
1. The soil has some clay.
2. I did water it, but not enough.

So, I’m starting with plants and you have been inspired! Acorn Thank You! Hurray!

Shelly, I'm glad that you are inspired by my article, good luck with your shady nook. I tip my hat to you.

Be sure and add some compost to the soil to amend it before you plant, seeing as you have clay soil. Smiling
