I'm pretty certain the first one is

The soft wisteria blue standards, the white falls with just a hint of pink at the hafts, the beards that are pinkish orange in the throat and white at the end, and the beautiful ruffled form all scream Fogbound.

No guesses on the others. Sad

I can hopefully get some better pictures ,of a bloom not rain soaked and wind lashed. The form of the flower looks good for both those suggestions, If I can get some better color rendition, it will help. Thanks...Arlyn

MileHighGardner said:Alright, so far this season I have discovered 4 iris that are now blooming but were NOT what I ordered. However this beauty is difficult to be angry about. I can't find a likeness anywhere including using the all plants search engine.

Any guesses on what this might be? It's gorgeous, no PBF, Midseason here at least 38" tall, peach standards, the dusty rim on the falls is a purple not brown as it first appears. bright orange beards.

I'd also be interested in other peoples perception's about wrongly shipped iris.

Mystery SOLVED: OK I contacted the seller Cynthia from Cynthia's Iris Garden: this iris is "Copper Classic" from Roderick '79. Thanks to all of you for your help!

I've had some luck ,also. "Helen Leader" is "Darkside"; MaryAnn nailed the I Bless mystery, and the vendor confirmed!: Vendor also confirmed on Gypsy Baron, and Fogbound is looking good for "Beverly Sills". If I can just get that lucky with the others !!!...Arlyn

Arlyn, I've been trying to ID one that is similar to your "Edith Wolford".. Some of the names I've come across are: 'Dutch Master', 'Gypsy Lullaby' (Beard and band are wrong), 'Gala Madrid', and 'Amigo's Guitar'.. I've been looking at Gordon Plough's introductions, as well as Opal Brown's.. Hope one of those sends you down the right road.

Your picture of "I Bless" looks a little like my Chickasaw Sue. Problem is with Chickasaw Sue, the picture can look so different depending upon the time of day, amount of sunlight it gets...
Maybe if you get some possible names from this forum, you can check with your vendor to see IF they carry these "possibilities".

With that many being wrong...I think I'd contact the vendor and see if I could get them to send another order with the correct ones. I can understand one being wrong in an order but your situation is over the top in my opinion. I'd be upset, but that is because I've really gotten into having my plants named. Rolling my eyes.
