That's the nicest looking specimen I've seen. Mine is mostly leaves with only a few blooms on bottoms of stalks. The hummingbirds love it though!

Nothing wrong with starting a thread, Sheila. Smiling It draws attention to the photo and lets more people notice it. I agree that this is a particularly nice specimen.

Hi Sheila, and a big Welcome! to ATP. I love that you started a thread for my photo of Salvia coerulea 'Black and Blue'. I started it from a tiny 4" pot. I came back for several years before a very cold and wet winter did it in. I think it was the wet that got it. It is on the east side of the house, so got wonderful 1/2 day sun. It is one of my favorite sages. The other one is the Pineapple Sage. It was in full sun and grew huge. The hummingbirds loved it even more that 'Black and Blue'.
