Wow .. I've never heard of Tulip Geraniums! Those are beautiful.
Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.

I love the look of the tulip geranium. The flowers almost look like little rosebuds.

I like that tulip geranium.
I have one which gives similar blooms in a pale pink.
The lady who gave it to me called it the Popcorn geranium, as the blooms do resemble popped corn somewhat.
These are heirlooms from back in the 1800s.

The blooms do look much more like popcorn that tulips! Popcorn geranium makes more sense to me. I bet the pale pink is pretty, I wonder if they come in other colors, too. This is the only nursery I've ever seen these at, and this is the only color they carry.

Must keep an eye open for these!
Apparently there are so many petals in each flower,
that they can not open so they stay curled in that tulip shape.

If I remember correctly there are several shades of pink and maybe a red tulip type? But if you search for them look under tulip, not popcorn! They do partially open.
Rosebud types come in pink, red, white, and pink and white, called appleblossom. I 'm just talking about the upright varieties, here. They are also becoming very hard to find!
Thirty years ago there were a lot more of the old fancy leaf types available than there are now.
I used to get a printed catalog from Shady Hills. I think things have changed since Chuck retired. They used to have lots of fancy leaf, tulip, Rosebud, and unusual type pellies.
