Notice that it is mostly the darker colors that seem to have some sort of insect damage. Could it be water damage??? It did rain yesterday a bit.
Looking at your photos I would say it is thrip damage not water spots. Even if the lighter ones had it you may not notice it at all since they are lighter.
Not much left here blooming with all the scapes cut but we left the scapes on the newest ones we got at the end of May so we could make sure they were correct when bloomed and we left scapes on what has pods.
Thank you all who helped me with my problem about crossing daylilies. I am getting lots of seed pods.
Here is a picture of my garden: @lilydaydreamer One of the varieties of seeds that you sent me have grown so big that I had to transplant them to a different place.
PHENOMENAL PHOENIX, SASHA, DANCING ON ICE & FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE could all tempt me to for go the promise I have made to myself to not buy anything new!!
BERRY DELICIOUS had a good day yesterday!!
FFO on VICTORIAN LACE...it was not quite open all the way.
WESTBOURNE HARVEST MOON
LIGHTHOUSE FREE GIFT......This one has become one of my favorites.
Thanks Michele. I kind of thought it was insect damage of some sort. I can't really understand why after such a cold winter, I seem to have more bugs and spiders this year than ever before.
Claudia, LH Rose Bouquet is looking very good for you this year. Mine isn't blooming yet and I hope it looks that good. The longer it is left undisturbed I think the better it looks.
To many today to pick favorites, they are all beautiful! Sasha...is gorgeous. That Small Carbon Footprint is quite nice, too.
Hemlady, the bugs are terrible here, too. With nothing blooming yet I haven't noticed any bloom problems but the black flies, ticks, no-see-ums, skeeters and now deer flies are terrible this year.
jon!!!! So happy to hear you are getting seedpods.
