Great Mitch! I would love to participate if I can. I hate to vote for dates so early, so I will check the calendar closer. I do know Botanic Gdn has me the whole month of March for the Tropical Butterfly Exhibit though.

I vote for May 5. That's just cuz I've found that for some reason it's hard for me to have any plants ready in March. My stuff doesn't get going that early (and neither do I, LOL). April is better than March, but I can't make it on the 28th, and don't know when Easter is next year. Anyone know?

You can see the dates skipped around that and Palm Sunday and such. Well I will leave it open for the rest of today and we will set the date - looking like end of April first of May.

So May 5th it is - will start planning... So lets get some help organized... who is willing to help get things set up? and I will call down and start getting things set up so we can reserve a spot there at the lake, and then we will see what we can do to raise the deposit.

Going to be calling around the lake and find a good spot - low cost if we can. Does anyone remember where on the lake we used to use?

I will have to cruse around wharts left of the park and see what is available now. Our old area is closed and now owned by Pointa Vista. That is a long story though.

Just took a drive and there are only 3 Pavilions left in the park. # 7 and 8 and one huge one that holds 14 tables plus, but no lake vilew. The best and only choice is # 8 opposite side of the lake from where we were but same lake view. #7 would be surrounded with camping trailers and boat docks.
Lots of places on the Texas side also. Have not been to any of them though.

Ted! Have not "talked" to you in such a long time! Can you find out the cost of #8 and if May 5th might be open, we will fund raise from there and get the ball rolling.

I checked the distance to Lake Texoma. It's at the least a five hour drive from Austin, an overnight stay, and another five hour drive home. That's a three day trip. Coupled with committing to something 10 months away, I'm going to have to "just say no" to this one. That's just me, tho. There are others that can probably commit.

It is hard to commit this far in advance, but I'd try to make it.

I'm unfortunately with Sandi. That will be right before Finals start for me so I can't afford to miss any school. Sad
