This is how the area looks now. Made the comment to Ed I could extend the shade garden and it would be wonderful.........

He told his brother I need to replace this soon, very soon. He asked how come and Ed said can't you hear it? Her mind is clicking off plants by the minute and she already planting them. I want the shed here I have to do it FAST!!!!! Rolling on the floor laughing

Sarah is unfortunately having an operation at 07:30AM on Saturday morning, so this has left me very busy to say the least! However I will be around as she is going to need a lot of rest.
So don't worry I will be here.
A picture of a climbing Hydrangea or Hydrangea petiolaris this afternoon! It was looking lovely but due to a sudden heatwave it quickly finished!
Regards.
Neil.

Dear all, this is a an elderly ladies front garden who lives across the road. Her real name is Rebbecca but everybody calls her "Old Becky." I am putting this on on to show you what an 81 year old women can do! As you may know the elderly and the war veterans are not treated very well in the UK; so this remarkable old lady has her own way of doing things, for she grows things!
She does the little front gardens and containers for people for; a bit of cash for her purse, grocery things, a bottle of sherry, and people give her cat food, and she does your garden!
Hedges and a bit of weeding no trouble, and apart from the conifers she grows her own plants!
OK it is not to Chelsea standards, or a Royal Park; but no, to me it is better than that. To grow your own so this lovely old lady can have a few pleasures in life, she can at her age do things like this!
Nothing is ever too much trouble, from showing the children how to do things, to giving everyone a kind word and a cup of tea! The children know where to go if they are in trouble or more often than not hungry, for she soon sorts them out!
She survived the War so knows what it was like, a truly remarkable lady!
I love this lady as she does the: local Church flowers, the local libraries containers and the local pub. We know she gets a few drinks off the Landlord, so what at her age, would you take that off her?
Yes I give her some seeds, and especially when I go to Chelsea as there are lots of free ones they give you! Do I buy her a drink, yes I do. Do I help her with bits yes I do!
Although you may be horrified at her prices and this is the closest I can get to it in your money $2.50 an hour! But if you can't afford that she doesn't mind some fresh vegetables or anything for her precious cats!
Personally anybody that can bring colour and Gardening into anyone's lives, is a friend of mine!
The house she lives in was built in 1861 and she still lives in the servants quarters, with bells around the house, for when the master wanted you. Mine is 10 years later than this!
They should give her a Medal.
Regards.
Neil.
