Is it possible to find the podcasts in print somewhere? My internet is too slow for videos or lengthy audio discussions.

PP, awhile back I tried transcribing a podcast for that very reason. It just didn't work out.

When the podcast is ready I hit the green 'thumbs up' to show that I approve even though I cannot listen to them.
After that I depend on the comments to help me learn what the podcast was all about.

The few that don't have comments are confounding! Hilarious! I rely on them a lot, too.

The podcasts are intended for a certain audience and definitely are not for everyone. I think the primary consumers of the podcast are people who have lengthy commutes or people who want something to listen to while doing lengthy chores or exercising and things like that. We make the podcasts of a length that is appropriate for a commute.

The podcast is currently listened to each week by nearly 2,000 people, most of whom do not come to ATP at all (and that's okay although we always encourage them to visit the site.)

For everyone else, the forums, articles and so-forth are better sources of information.

Oh, that's nice to know, Dave. I always feel like I'm missing out on something, but I'm just not as good at listening as I am at reading. Smiling

There was some podcast where I intended to go back and transcribe a few "best moments of ..."

But I never found time and then forgot which one it was. Edible "weeds", perhaps?

Unfortunately, I think each person would select a different segment of each podcast for "most useful information".

What keeps me coming back is the chance to sit down and feel like I'm chatting with Dave and Trish about their farm and family. Especially the loving banter.

"Dave, could you be ANY more pedantic?"

I want to cheer both of them on!

"You tell 'im, Trish!"

"C'mon, Dave! Try harder! There's ALWAYS something to be MORE pedantic about if you search hard enough!!"

I love the podcastes, and one of the reasons is what Rick mentioned in his above post, feeling like I am in a room visiting with Dave and Trish. I love that feeling.

It seems to me that ever since I complimented Dave and Trish for sounding so friendly, and never pedantic, in their podcasts, they've been accusing each other of being pedantic. Hilarious!
