Okay I understood the NPK thing, its the name which had me confused here. I don't think I have ever seen it in our stores.

I do need to find a good fertilizer low in nitrogen. My Campsis radicans (Trumpet Vine) doesn't need the nitogen and it will take any available nitrogen and grows like a weed. It just hasn't bloomed too very well the past couple of summers. I guess that is one area I need to look into for a properly blooming vine. Only thing is.......................it is growing all over the place now. When it isn't happy with its site it doesn't do much but put it where it is happy and it takes over. I've been pulling it out of my peonies, my weigela, hollyhocks and everything else. I don't want to kill it I just want it to behave and stay on its own side of the yard...
the faster I go, the behinder I get

Dear Cherie, Campsis can fix nitrogen in the soil on its own. Magnolias cannot do that so need some help, but not too much, otherwise you will get loads of green and no flowers! Each plant and soil is different, and they say gardeners are thick.
Hugs a worn out.
Neil.

The colour of that wallflower is amazing against the primrose. Taking pictures of Hyacinths is not easy as the scent of so many, bowls you over!

Pretty pics, Neil... what is the white flower, located in the First row, right side??--- they have such long petals! ... would like that Coral Bark Maple--- bee-utiful! .... I'd like to buy a couple of those colorful pots while there, also one of those bright lizards for the garden wall--- It looks like ceramic...? We have a nursery here that sells Talavera Pottery, which has similar bright colors--- kinda expensive, so I wanna get something there when they have a Sale! (that's my Middle Name!) Hilarious!

Dear all, I have been missing a bit as my parents needed some help with matters arising. luckily they are sorted out now one hopes!
It was searingly hot here today, far too much for me and way above the average for this time of year.
On our News it was showing the terrible fires in Texas and the Tornado's in other places in the US, weird weather, I must say.
Then it showed one of the Universities in Oxford where they have daffodils, tulips, hyacinths, bluebells, a huge Wisteria in flower and Roses out all at the same time. How strange is that?
It is H.M. Queens Birthday today so we had to have a toast for Her Majesty, she is 85 today.
Then on Saturday it is St. Georges Day which is the National Day of England.
A Happy Easter To One And All.
I spotted this beautiful Ceanothus or Californian lilac in the pub Garden today.
Regards.
Neil.

These Aquilegias can be a pest as they cross and you get all sorts of colours! Then they seed themselves everywhere, which is another pain in the rear.
You cannot give the things away as everyone has the same problem with them!
