I have enjoyed Caryopteris in my garden for some years now and wouldn't be without it! The bees and butterflies love it,
and an occasional hummer. I have Blue Knight and Worcester Gold. Love the Blue Butterflies, too.
I think that if ever a mortal heard the voice of God it would be in a garden at the cool of the day. ~F. Frankfort Moore, A Garden of Peace

I have been growing Snow Fairy caryopteris in my zone 4a garden for several years. I believe it is rated to zone 5, but it came through our last brutal winter just fine. It's one of my most treasured plants.

Old gardeners never die. They are just pruned and repotted.
I'm guessing Worcester Gold has chartreuse foliage? I'll bet that is striking with the blue flowers.
I would love a white one! I'll have to look up Worcester Gold and Snow Fairy.
My blues are Caryopteris Snow Fairy and Sunshine Blue. I still have some Salvia Patens Blue Angel and some blue Lisianthus going strong. The bees are ALL OVER the Russian Sage!!
