Thank you all for the nice thoughts. I'm on cloud nine!

My daughter and SiL normally live in San Diego - but in July they moved to Boston for a year while he goes to school. On the 20th I leave for a week long visit...it's a good thing I have baby as a prize at the end of the 9 hour journey!!! I'll be happy when they are back on the west coast!

Under that cap he has a lot of brown hair; and Lynn, I'm going to be "Grammie" which is what Jaime called her grandmother.

Patty,

CONGRATULATIONS!! Now you'll have to breed an iris or semp to name for him!!

Boston is such fun. Try to do some sight-seeing while there. Also check out Legal Seafood and have the chowder (pronounced chow-dah in Boston!!). Some great Italian food too in the north end.

Enjoy!

Kevin, I HOPE to get out but I offered to be the full time babysitter while the "kids" get out (they actually live in Sommerville - know of any great eateries there?) Anyway, depending on how cooperative the kidlet is we may make it into Boston (hoping hoping)

I spent a summer in Cambridge reciting "Pahk the cah in the Hahvad yahd". (Had to invent the spelling to convey the sound Rolling on the floor laughing ) It practically felt like a foreign country Hilarious!

Patty,

If you need Baw-sten speaking lessons I'll be glad to help when you return! After 35 years away the locals think I have no accent anymore!

Don't know anything in Sommerville but almost any fish or Italian place is wonderful. The Irish places do "New England boiled dinner" that has corned beef, cabbage and potatoes. And of course you need a good lawb-stah too! Lawb-stah rolls are a good way to use hot dog rolls!

ENJOY!

Kevin
