Recycled Fan "Cage" for Baby Staghorn Fern

I reused an old broken fan to make a sturdy, stylish mounting for my new staghorn simply by removing the motor, separating the halves, and filling with sphagnum and potting soil mix.

That is just a great way to use a dead-and-out fan. I have several of this type of fan in my greenhouses, and now when one dies, I will have a use for it. Way to go Kim. Thumbs up
