Well...I got some of the ribbon in the planter where the gingerbread house will sit... It stays up year round...and morning glories grow over it In the spring..the ribbon around the planter is removed..made a couch..painted a few walls..and hung some art in the house

yes Lynn,,, it is looking like Christmas...and the little kids looking in through the windows is always a treat to watch..." OH Mommy...look... there's Santa inside" they will often look inside.. and the parents only looking at the building.. and that the child is OK.. so seeing the child share a more indepth world with the parent is heart warming..
OH the rug is an oriental carpet... decades ago when the conputer induustry was starting... the trade shows were a hot bed of free items for sitting through a talk.. or just for stopping by... the rug is a mouse pad... from a vendor..

That is amazing about the rug, it looks so real.
It is such a shame that we loose the ability to see things through the eyes of a child.

Ok...mounted outside the gingerbread house in it's holiday home..the verticle ribbons will serve as a summer trellis for my morning glories and other vines
