Allison, I can't remember which thread we were on, but I've been trying to get a pic of the Ruby throated nest which is in a Mugo. Can't get in there without disturbing it. Once I'm sure they're done I'll stick the camera inside.
Whew, I planted all the daylilies I received from the RU and the co op, went out around 4pm when I knew the areas would be in shade...I was still sweating like a dog!!! but at least I know that's all done...feels good that I finally got something done in this heat!!!
Oh don't get me wrong I still have a ton to plant, that was just the Dls...I still have a ton of Iris,2 hydrangeas, mums, foxglove, 5 trees, geraniums and a balloon flower
and then the echi and heuch co op ships in 2 weeks!!!
I'm still waiting for my Chapman irisii order. I need to move some biguns into the back of that patch before I put in the dwarves in front. We had a PO strike so methinks Chapman's are scrambling to catch up on their shipping. Some of my beluved dahlias are still in pots too I'm SO WAY behind this year. I'm going to put brellies up over my irisi if it's too hot when I plant them.
