Growing Mint in Small Packets

By Dinu

I noticed that a mint runner had been caught up in neighbouring foil packets where I was growing extra Gerberas. The one that was in it had grown so well, surpassing the other mint plants in the small patch, so this is what I did.

We buy various things in aluminum or plastic packets that are strong. We use up the contents by cutting one corner off the packet, right? After the packet is empty, I cut the 'top' portion off. If it is too long, I fold the 'brim' down the same way as we fold our cuffs. I make small holes in the bottom - usually 4 will do - for drainage. Then I put some compost-soil in it and start seeds or even plant small plants temporarily until they can be shifted to their destination. Am I clear, ktgrant?
