Here goes folks...my very first post in All Things Plants! I hope this works.
I can't believe it's been a week since all of our festivities out in Portland. It was a wonderful time and I had so much fun meeting fellow Semp enthusiasts who are even more passionate than I am about this great group of plants!
After being gone for a few days, I've spent this week in the greenhouses getting caught up on all my various projects. Lynn and Kevin, thanks again for all your efforts and hard work in helping to coordinate this awesome event! Thanks also for your extreme generosity in sharing of your Semp babies and they've all been potted and looking stunning in my greenhouses.
I've attached a few pictures to see if I've done it correctly...

Yeahhhhh, Chris has posted. And how I love your avatar Chris. Great photos of the semps. I think we were looking at the 'Oddity' seedlings, all three of them.
Paddy you are probable correct, at least for me, about the straightening up.

Some of the photos remind me that I need to get out and make permanent tags for some of the plants.

Are you back from Europe already Chris? If so, how did the trip go?

Good to see you on ATP! You certainly were a gem at the meeting and I know everybody enjoyed meeting you , our 'Special guest". Everyone agreed that you were indeed SPECIAL too.

I hope you'll be a constant participant now that you know what fun we have. i KNOW you want to see all those new semp seedlings of mine too!

I'm still waiting for my 2nd box of the plants all of you loaded me up with to arrive -- they were both mailed at the same time, but (of course) the one with Chris's sedum is still "in transit," some place in western PA according to the tracker...

This morning it looked like it was not a day to get outside -- cold and cloudy with a high of 40 predicted. BUT all at once the sun is out; the temp is up to 52 and feels like it's climbing. I'm outta here!

I'm not sure which semps are in box #1 downstairs in the fridge, but that's where I'll begin...

Yeah, warmer weather for MR.

Whew! The 2nd box with all of Chris's sedums arrived today. However instead of planting, I spent the day with Mother Michaela at a funeral in Albany... Came home to find (happily) that Mother Anna opened the box as I'd asked her to, took care of the geraniums and put the rest in the fridge.

Since we've gotten home this evening, I've made one pot from a division of each sedum (I'll sink them in the ground for the summer and bring them in for the winter) and the rest will go out in the gardens tomorrow. If we should get another hard freeze, I can cover them... Right now it's fun watching them respond so quickly to light and air!

All is well that ends well.
I look forward to photos when you have time.
Meanwhile I need to go out and move some hellebore seedlings. Oh, and plant a few more sedum.
