We, the gardeners, are the stewards of this earth. It is the only abiding thing we are going to pass on to generations to come. We are from all walks of life and hold all manner of beliefs but we are all children of the soil. We know instinctively that the earth and all of the green growing on it is our support system. Without plants we would not have food to eat, clean water to drink or a sweet breath to sustain us. We humans cannot survive without our support system. At this point in our planets life it is imperative that we share, teach, encourage, seek and put all that we learn into practical action. In this knowledge we are kindred spirits and this site ~ ATP ~ allows us to be an active participant. I salute my fellow gardeners for all they do to make this world a better place for this generation and the ones that will follow. I salute those who dedicate a portion of their lives to creating and maintaining a website such as ATP so that we can continue and grow in our gardening efforts.

I hope in some small way that I add something productive to this site. I appreciate all the work and patience the sages exhibit when answering queries asked too many times. I thank all that have not only read my small posts but have answered them with good grace. I have indeed found my tribe.
Thro' all the tumult and the strife I hear the music ringing; It finds an echo in my soul— How can I keep from singing?
