Welcome to ATP and the Daylily Forum Hilary Smiling

There sure are some beauties in this thread already. Picket Fences, Painted Palace...the huge watermark on Pencil Thin Mustache. Peppered Leopard & Pitter Patter both have cool "spots" Thumbs up Panther Eyes, love that black eye. Promoted to Glory, I don't think I've seen that one posted before, nice! I was surprised when looking at my list of daylilies starting with "P" tonight. There are around 30 in the garden and a number of others that have grown here over the years. I'll post a few favorites...

One of three registrations by Dan Trimmer from the cross of Almond Puff X Francis Joiner. I grew 'Kathy Rood' also, but 'Pat Neumann' did better here. Never tried the third sibling ' Sugar Mountain'

A favorite with nice branching/budcount growing in my "Dog Bed".

A good parent in the early days of pattern breeding.

Also a good parent for patterns and has a nice plant with good branching/budcount.

A Point of Divergence kid with nice clean colors, a super plant and a good parent for patterns.

A 2004 sculpted form from Eddy Scott, a hardy evergreen for me in zone 4.

Great branching/budcount, nicely pleated sculpted form.

Big, nocturnal, bright yellow.

Another great yellow, a bud builder that blooms late into fall.

Primal Scream is a popular one! I couldn't resist posting this image of three blooms open making a big fiery orange ball.

Thanks for the compliment on my photo of Pale M. W. I love Picket Fences, does it poly often? So many nice ones, hard to pick favorites.

I grow 'Primal Scream' but there are several very nice photos already posted. I will say that it had the best foliage of any daylily growing for me. I wondered if that attractive growth garnered some award votes along with the bloom. Otherwise I have:

'Paper Lion' which I got in late summer. It's a single fan, but I'm still hoping to see bloom.

'Parade Of Peacocks' struggled as a plant in the beginning, but then went on to bloom pretty well.
Thumb of 2015-01-23/needrain/e68ee7

'Purple Many Faces' really had many faces, both in shape and shade.
Thumb of 2015-01-23/needrain/01f898

I have 'Purple Tanrantula' on my wish list. In addition to the photos in the database, there have been a couple posted on Facebook recently. It looks fine in every photo. I'm guessing it's going to be a while before the purchase price gets down to an amount I'm willing to chance. I keep looking for someone to post it in this thread, but it's still a newer one so may not have many growers yet.

Teresa, Picket Fences doesn't poly that often for me. I get maybe one flower a season that will poly.

Oh, to bad, it looks nice as a poly. Here is my last 3.

Paper Butterfly was one of my first daylily. I still enjoy it.

Cindy, I now realize I should also have included another picture of PIRATE'S PRISM. The streaks in the previous picture were visible in cooler weather, and then when the spring warmed up it looked like these:

This was my favorite prism daylily until I saw AMETHYST PRISM and AZURE PRISM!
