Playing catch up is hard to do! I have to open two windows so I can type at the same time that I go back through the posts, lol!

Everyone has such nice looking daylilies, but I thought Red Raptor was awesome. And of course, I always wish that I had Rose F. Kennedy. It always looks so beautiful to me.

I love the color on Rocket City and Royal Girls!

And Tim's joke is the icing on the cake, lol!

It's just the nickname my friends gave my house when I moved out of my last apartment. Cause it's yellow. Not intriguing nor interesting. Although, if you're paying attention, you may have noticed... Little Yellow Shack. I generally don't like any social media for it's information grabbing and misrepresenting. So I use my house's nickname instead of anything to do with mine when I do join or sign up for something. L. Y. Shack

I have acquired a few more R's since my post five years ago. I didn't realize I had so many though.

Red Hornet
Thumb of 2020-02-25/blue23rose/656759

Regina Sitko- Huge blooms!
Thumb of 2020-02-25/blue23rose/d96039

Remembering Flo Nix - not quite as impressive in color as Heavenly United We Stand, but just as impressive in bloom size, height and presence. What I like about it is that just as RFN is about done blooming, HUWS is just starting.

Rhinestone Kid-Love the intense color on this one!
Thumb of 2020-02-25/blue23rose/18c746

Rogue

Rolling Circles
Thumb of 2020-02-25/blue23rose/4e69b2

Royal Celebration - if this one doesn't shape up soon, it's toast. Only a few nice blooms.
Thumb of 2020-02-25/blue23rose/dfa71d

Ruby Locket - beautiful red
Thumb of 2020-02-25/blue23rose/9c6bea

Running Late-not much on color, but it bloomed in September.
Thumb of 2020-02-25/blue23rose/c1d19a

Russian Easter-this is one of those that doesn't look like much in pictures, but in person, it has such a nice soft look that is very beautiful and the eye is more on the pinkish side. Tall, sturdy scapes!

Vickie those are beautiful. I sent Royal Celebration packing about five years ago for the same reason. I often wonder how it feared in its new home.
I am pretty sure I had some not so nice things to say for the flower of the day comments.

L.Y. Shack is an awesome moniker!

Mike, I remember a thread a few years ago lamenting the awful performance of Royal Celebration. I think I will compost it this year. I could use that space for a much better performing daylily.

I just looked in the database and my picture of 'Rogue' doesn't look like the ones in the database. I think I may have another NOID, grrrrr! Very disappointed because I received a bunch of daylilies at a daylily meeting in 2015 from the same person. Either she got the wrong things, or she passed them on not realizing they were the wrong thing. The other thing too is, I have been in her garden and her daylilies have very little space in between them. Could have gotten mixed up over the years.
