Wild One certainly is distinctive. One of those daylilies you can toss the label and know what it is every time.
Only one new "W" this year. I was wondering why I didn't have many to add to the alphabet threads this year and figured it out....almost none of the the new daylilies that came in this spring bloomed this year.
Wacky Wednesday is one of the ones that did.
My Lonicera fragrantissima (Sweet Breath of spring) is starting to bloom. Spring will be here before we know it...but still not soon enough. Four more months until our traditional last frost date.

Beautiful blooms are being displayed by everyone. I had that once in a lifetime Bitsy bloom on April 28 a few years ago. I got Wild One a couple years ago. It started to come into its own last summer. I have Watermelon Summer coming from Paul Lewis this spring. He sends good stock. Betty I absolutely love your pictures of it. The best that I have seen . I will post a few "W" from my look laptop shortly.
Thanks guys! WATERMELON SUMMER was a surprise, as I didn't expect to like it as much as I do -- one of my top fav's now! And WINGS OF SPRING didn't give me much bloom last year, so maybe this year I'll get better pics...
