I just may have to invest in that little machine as much as I make Fairy doors. It would be a little more consistent. But then again if I was just doing a little I wouldn't go out and buy one. Fifteen dollars would buy more garden stuff, plants, art etc.

Just remember, don't force a bunch of clay thru it. Take your time. The pasta machine has different settings for different thickness of the clay. Yes, it really makes things lots concise and even. You will love it. Sometimes Michael's has a coupon for 50% off. That's how I got my last one. Worth every cent.
Yep, weather too hot to go out. Stay in and play with the clay.

Fairy Door making is posted for you all. When I start my concrete doors I will do a step by step of them and do a 'stepping stones made easy'.

You're very welcome. You should have seen me in the garage at 4:30 this morning in my jammies moving boxes and digging in them to find what I needed. Needless to say I found them and all the other things I was needing. By 7 I looked like I just stepped out of the shower. But I got what I wanted and got several boxes cleaned out and put up. Yeah me! That means tomorrow I can start moving dirt into my one bed. I had a dump truck load delivered today. That is going to be a chore, but one I will enjoy.

Note to self.....get more leaves mulched tonite. Grumbling Rolling on the floor laughing

Oh, thanks to everyone for all of the instructions and tips. Hmm, if I don't stop reading , I will have way too many hobbies.

I think I will try the hand method for the first few, like Becky, just to make sure I like doing it. Who am I kidding? Whistling

Charleen and everyone, thanks so much for the links.

Robin, you made me tired just thinking of you going thru boxes during the night. Rolling on the floor laughing

I think they are renaming this area to be Ozark Desert. The neighbor and I were commenting on the huge cracks going across our yards. If were not watchful we are going to lose our little dogs in them. They keep changing the forecast on us, now we are in for 14 days of excessive heat warnings.

I had thought of a question earlier on some art that I was hoping someone might know how to do but CRS kicked in and I'm at a total loss of what it was. Sticking tongue out

I remember, I want to learn how to do elephant ear concrete leaves. I also want to make some kind of water fountain out of concrete. Anyone done that? I need step by step. Wouldn't a big ee leaf bird bath be cool in a flower bed, sitting on the ground so frogs and such could use it too.

Has anyone made stepping stones with a heart or star cut out of the middle? I would imagine using a cookie cutter put inside the mold and pouring concret around it would work, just wondered if anyone had tried that yet and how well it works.

Someone said somewhere (haha) on ATP that they would share how to make leaves out of concrete. Also, Susie does this...and she makes cool planters too. I'll nudge her.

I'm starting a list so I can add to it when members share that they will show us how to do something!

I know that there are people who have made the stepping stones here too....hmmmmmm?

I wasn't the one who said I'd do a concrete leaf tutorial, but I think I do have a tutorial for that some where if nobody else does.
