In the tip about the tall Shepard hook to keep the squirrels off, I use to also use a lot of Vaseline and boy,
they could not get up it, and it was entertaining as well! I still feed squirrels in winter, nuts, peanuts and
peanut butter sandwiches, I have no trouble w/ them in the bird food since the 2 dogs go outside
at any given time.
