@Melissa, @Kareoke or @Jim I have a question: Is Neem oil spray harmful to DRs? I have a couple that I see mealy bug on. What can I spray them with indoors? There are too many to do the alcohol and Q-tip treatment. It's too cold to use malathion outdoors or even in the garage. Help!

I haven't tried neem. I resort to a systemic drench, poison, for those nasties. In general, Adeniums dislike oil or soaps.

Anyone else? please comment.

Sorry it's so c-c-c-old for most of you!

OK, thanks. I'll do the alcohol treatment, as well as drench the soil with Bayer. I thought I treated my DRs with Bayer 3n1 before I brought them in last fall. But, I may not have, because thinking back, I was rushing to get plants in before an unexpected freeze. I also had a family emergency and had to go out of town at the same time. Would it do any good to stray the plants with Bayer?

I wouldn't spray, as you might breathe in some of the poison.

That is a terrible thought, and that's why I wear the mask that my DH got me from the chemical plant where he worked. Blinking
