Kudos guys! Wow David ...3 dates! We were criticized for tying the knot after three months from the date of meeting! We are kind of macro/micro. DH sees the big picture and I go for details. He is loving yard work and gardening again after being out of commission for a while. Heart valve replacement, quadruple bypass and huge weight loss. He is once again enjoying life! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!
We are analyzing our yard space and wondering the best placement for plumeria in the ground. The temps are one thing but blazing desert sun is another Grumbling we are considering an eastern exposure next to the house. Morning sun, nothing after about noon. We search for microclimates in this town!

Our weather is mostly warm, my plumerias are confused. Here is my DPS, the blooms are now starting to open.

And my other plumerias think it is spring and new healthy leaves are starting to come out.

My Plumeria in my Living Room East window is growing new leaves. It has dropped a few leaves. So guess it ain't going dormant.

Big Grin Big Grin I rotate it every few days and was quite surprised with the new leaf. It is now ~ 3 inches and I also see some others coming on.

The early start would be great. nodding

Very poor picture (the angle was impossible so it focused on the background) but here is a picture of a triple seedpod I found this morning. This is only the second one I have seen. Ken also has one on one of his plants.

I guess you (and I) will be on the lookout for more of these triples. How about a quad.?

Shoot, I will just be on the lookout for ANY seed pods. Beggars can't be choosy. Whistling

Definitely a record: 15 Plumeria trees still blooming in my yard on Christmas morning. Including 'Marengo', pictured here. This is a favorite, a fantastic bloomer. It has been in bloom non-stop since April 9th....

I still have three in bloom but now more and more leaves have started yellowing. I probably cut off two dozen leaves this morning. I guess Mother Nature said enough's enough. It is nap-time. The seedpods continue to grow and the pretty pink is still dominating their coloration. That plumeria had its last flower a week ago and it doesn't look like there will be any more.

Merry Christmas everyone.

My one & only mature Plumeria (funny in the Plumeria forum ATP thinks that is mis-spelled) in the Living Room near an East window has stopped dropping leaves and has two new ones that are growing. Guess she does not want to go nighty-nite. nodding Blinking

Perhaps just a "brief" siesta rather than a "prolonged" one, David. The days are now getting longer and your plumeria may have sensed that. Mine don't seem to be that smart. I have them confused. Whistling

Well, here are the five stems with pods. The largest are now exactly 10" across, from pod-tip to pod-tip. No more flowers on K's Honeysuckle Rose but the pods are still colorful.
