That's a pretty Cyclamen, Sally! I had a white one that was blooming for almost a year straight, then it suddenly died when I brought it inside in Oct. I never could understand how to tell if it was a hardy one or a tropical one, but it's a moot point now.

thank you! I should have tried to adjust the photo color as the real thing is an intense red-purple, not the hot pink in the photo.
I think the florist ones can/do go dormant? I should look it up...aha

I guess you could say it's more like it's rooting than rooted... but it'll get there!

If I could tell if it was a "florist" one or not, that would help I think. When I tried to search for info, all that came up was places to buy them. I don't think it's just dormant since it's been 5 months.

Chinese evergreen, crown of thorns & florist Kalanchoe / flaming Katy blooming inside. The Kal stem was stuck in the bottle around November. Time to put it in the ground and increase the patch. Root-hardy here, but not at all evergreen.

Although this pic was taken outside, it is just a few hours after taking this outside for the first time since last year. A little weak & floppy - but blooming!

Just brought this outside today. The wax Begonias never stopped blooming. For some reason, the Streptocarpella stopped about 3 weeks ago but it had also been blooming all winter, right by a S window.
