If the room is dark, little-used, and temporary, consider a nice artificial plant. Check out places like Michael's, Hobby Lobby, or online like Wayfair.com. Surely, it would be less maintenance?

I agree on the artifical plant. It would provide the "look" without the frustation of maintenance and I honestly don't think any plant will look good in such dim lighting conditions for long.

My last post was in response to that question.

Sorry I've been sorta lerking in the shadows. Rolling my eyes.

A sunleaves is a high output strip light. I use one for my bird of paradise and my other plants its about 4 foot by 2 foot wide. .

That Sunleaves looks a lot like the 6-bulb, T5H fixtures I use.

Where my T5H fixtures use individual bulbs, yours use tandem bulbs, two ties together at one socket. I think that's what you have. Your fixture with only a pair or bulbs is far more expensive than my 6-bulb fixtures and mine has more lumens, a lot more.

Are they individual bulbs or tandem bulbs, paired in two's? That's what I saw when I went to the Sunleaves site. I can't remember whether they listed the K numbers or the lumen numbers though. Perhaps you have another fixture I didn't see. One thing's for sure. Our T5 fixtures, and I don't know whether your bulbs are HO or not, put out a heck of a lot of lumens compared to T8 and T12 bulbs.
