I think it’s safe to say that most of us collect sempervivums for the diversity of the rosettes, but it would be a shame to ignore the beauty of their tiny flowers.
How could anyone not love these tiny blooms?
It is amazing how each variety has it's very own distinction in the blooms. Zulu to me is a real standout.
Great article Chris.

What a beautiful variety of little blooms. Your photography even shows the little hairlike projections on them, and I really enjoyed studying them in detail without having to get down on my hands and knees!
Thank you everyone! I was surprised myself at how different they all look. Since they're so small, it's almost impossible to tell with some of them until you see them side by side.
Great information there Chris , I never realised all the semps have so many different flowers . Obviously this can help with identifying semps too as sometimes they can look so similar .
Thanks for presenting us with such photos that give us a beautiful glimpse into a world of "tiny beauties". I loved the first two photos of cluster of buds. Your photography was spot on in my book, Chris!
