I have one like Arlyn's that just grows one sad tiny leaf at a time, but it has been in the garden so I am going to do the opposite and pot it up for some babying. The soil stays moist better in the pots in this heat we are having so maybe it can be saved. Hope so.
My two marginal starts that survived when Flaming Lips rotted are growing like gangbusters. They seem to love the hot sun.

Potting may save that one, Leslie . Any that don't jump into action, right away in the ground, I usually pot, and that seems to be all that's needed.....a little extra TLC. Once in a while, though, one comes along that just won't grow......and it always seems to be one I REALLY want Grumbling

I had that happen with Secret Rites Arlyn. It rotted. I saved and babied the increase and now they all have one big fan each but never increase more or bloom. Glare
