@dave recommended AdBlock for Firefox once and I never see an add anywhere anymore.

Adblock is great but it doesn't work on many devices, especially tablets and phones. That was one of my main drivers in adding this functionality.

Talking about clicking on those ads - many times they only echo your Google searches. I was looking at Gazebos and the Gazebo sites appeared everywhere in days to follow, including on ATP. But by then I was done researching Gazebos, and there was absolutely no reason to click on those ads.

I am thrilled to have this feature! Thank you Dave! For the time being the ads sometimes help me & I click on them. Since I am still doing shopping for our home I like the ads targeted to searches I have done. Sometimes something pops up that my searches did not reveal so for now it's helping me to some small degree. I am sure that later I will definitely be turning the ads off & it will be great to be able to do so.

I don't mind the ads -- which I guess is a good thing since I don't seem to be a power user (yet) -- but this has inspired me to contribute more to the site to earn that "distinction" !!
