You want to know something great? I've had thank you notes back from some of the companies that I sent thank you notes to, for the raffle prizes! We know that the companies who supply the prizes are generous to begin with, but to send a note back wasn't expected!

Please, everyone, if you haven't done so yet, just take a couple of minutes to say thanks. It means a lot, and the companies are probably more likely to donate these fantastic prizes in the future, if they know how much they are appreciated!

Next time though, if my name is drawn, that would be okay too. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

Congratulations to the winners and the companies that helped make it happen with such nice prizes.
Of course, this would not be possible without the raffle boys and the Whitinger family.

This is one of the everygreen azalea types. They are easy to keep the shape and size you want to maintain.
I think I am going to plant it in the street side bed at our church.

For my prize I chose the Oakes Daylilies gift certificate. They have a wide selection of plants and it was difficult to decide what to purchase. Ultimately I went with the jumbo collection. The cost was $17.94 with my gift certificate. I received these plants quickly after my selection. The customer service was friendly and kept me up to date on my order shipment status. The fans were very large and healthy. I also received a very nice bonus plant with my order. All the plants were packed well and none were broken. They all had sufficient amount of space and adequate cushioning. The box that they came in was big. Nothing was crammed into a tight space to save on shipping. Oakes Daylilies does packaging and shipping right! I received 5 fans of Mary’s Gold, 5 fans of Spider Miracle (bonus plant), 4 fans of Jolly White Giant, 4 fans of Tuscawilla Tigress, 4 fans of Lilting Belle, 4 fans of Red Flag, and 4 fans of Ruffled Apricot. These plants are now in the ground and thriving. Mary’s gold has already started budding. I will continue to add pictures to the plant database as these plants bloom. I am posting below a link to Oakes Daylilies website. I am also posting below a picture of the plants I received and the box in which they were shipped. (I placed a purple sharpie on the corner on the box for a size scale.) I already threw away the packing material or I would have posted that in a picture as well. Overall this was a excellent experience in purchasing daylilies and I would like to thank Oakes Daylilies for supporting ATP by donating to the raffle!

@valleylynn @flaflwrgrl He is a good helper. He mostly just lays in the closest shady spot, but he doesn’t try to dig up anything or carry off any of my tools or gloves. I think he is management material.
