I really love the leaves on these, the shape and color call to me, they are in the same area as the other flowers.

It looks to be one of the Balsamorhiza, which is from the sunflower tribe. Very nice. Lets see if we can pin it down to the correct species.

My wildflower book has this as Arrowleaf Balsamroot, which has the leaves pictured correctly but the center is darker on that flower than these are.

Yes, that is the same plant as the link I gave you in my above post. Arrowleaf Balsamroot is the common name.

Great photos. Would you like to add them to the database?
Love that blue.

Go ahead, add anything you want.

We have so many wild flowers here, it is amazing to see them all, people come here from all over the collect Baby's Breath in late summer for flower shop arrangements.

I also have iris about to flower, I am hoping I get some of the blood red ones I got from Barb Hill years ago, they did not bloom well last year, hard winter.

Indoor odd couple, I re-potted a Milk Cactus last winter and used my own dirt, two volunteer petunias came up and are living with the cactus

I have 6 of it's "babies" scattered around the house, a cacti takeover
Looks like part of the pix has been cut form the top, this is about to outgrow the place it is in. If we move and build gain, I will make a taller place for it.

If you click on the photo it will enlarge and show the entire photo. And it sure is an impressive plant, and productive.
How long have you had it?

Had it since 2007, started by Sister in law, don't know how long she had it for sure.

How do you like my Linden Tree sprout? I won a bet that I could not get one of the neighbor's seeds to sprout, but here it is.

It is getting good juju from the thriving cacti
