I put out all my plants this morning, weather said "chance of light rain" well we had a HAIL storm my plants are shredded and three of my big Brugs are destroyed.

Awww! that is sad and too bad. The good thing is though, that plants are resilient. Give them a sheltered spot and hopefully they will come back as good as new.

Doris, I'm so sorry. If you had a choice, which brug would you want most of all?

I hate hail. So far I've been really lucky because it has been all around me and near this year.

Hail was strange, my son lives on other side of town and they got nothing, not even the heavy rain.

Are they still alive or did they freeze? I would be pretty upset too.

Afraid the younger plants will not make it, guess getting the pot full of ice did not help even though I went out and emptied them as soon as I could, and brought them all back in the house, I think the larger ones will make it, 4 of them I re-potted because they were standing in water, guess only time will tell.

I'm sorry this happened to you Doris, and just when you're trying to start over. Here's wishing the bigger ones a speedy recovery and that the small ones surprise you and survive.

Bless my daughter, when she saw the pictures of my plants she went out and cut two cuttings of her plants that I gave her last year, I got them yesterday with $20 to pay for the potting soil. so I think I will have a loom sometime .
