valleylynn said:Can we see a photo of them Linda? Maybe we could start a new thread for Concrete containers?

These are the first concrete pots I made around 1997? Time does fly. The one I mentioned about moss growing around it got replanted and moved to the sun so all the soft moss is almost gone. Only remnants remain in holes/cracks

Hurray! Hurray!
Oh Linda, those are really wonderful. I really love the ones with all the crevices. How did you do that? What did you use for forms? And what kind of cement did you use?

Nice containers there Linda. I've just knocked up a batch of six concrete troughs to house my rapidly expanding sempervivum collection.
I've spent weeks trying to age them yoghurt and sour milk and various other concoctions.

@valleylynn hospital bathing pan Hilarious! Hilarious! , a stainless bowl, old flower pot. Molds are lined with light weight plastic bags, when you start adding the mix it causes wrinkles/lines, just try to pull up on liner/smooth down any big folds. Real bagged concrete mix probably Sakrete. Stuck small sticks in for holes.

@paddy Love your troughs & sedum. What form also?
I read somewhere to mix moss and buttermilk and paint it on pots.
