Where Is That Amazing Garden?

Gardeners are enthusiastic about our plants and our gardens. However, we see our own garden much differently from the way our friends view it. How often do we say "you should have seen my garden last week?"

A beautiful sentiment that strikes a deep chord within me. My gardens are wild and unruly to others but represent survival to me. After a life threatening medical event I was unable to garden for three years. Last year was my first time back in my gardens...and despite the neglect (and the mowing to the ground) my gardens reached out to me...plants that should've succumbed were still there....kind of like me. No, the gardens don't look as good as they once did but they are stalwart companions - reminding me that we can get through nearly anything. Thank you for your beautiful reminder.

And thank you, Catherine, for your dear observations. So glad you are back in your garden.
