I am enjoying these plants immensely, I thought they will not like it here with our poor humidity, but it turns out, it likes our intense heat days as long as I keep media moist, it survives well. If it overwinters well later, all the more I will try more varieties.
Got a summary of the different leaves it has given me, I do not know what varieties these are, but they are all so beautiful
It has been such a frustration in my garden that I get more shade but it is a blessing too, since the afternoon heat will surely scorch the plants. So these caladiums are a good compromise, lovely foliage and gets to send out blooms too. I like the blooms so I am letting it grow. My only problem for them is when our strong winds come around, but they do look cute flapping around like little kites. Been watching closely how it affects them, if the winds will put them in tatters. So far they are holding.
