Irises are some of the perennials we welcome here in April into May. We begin with the Miniature Dwarfs, the Standard Dwarfs, and of course the Tall Bearded Irises seen in this banner. Pictured from left to right are English Charm, Modern Classic, Heartbreaker, Vanity and an old unidentified cultivar.

Thanks ladies! It seems the older TB's kind of grow on me more so than many of the newer ones. Vanity, Modern Classic & Heartbreaker are now historics! Guess that sort of tells my age: -historic! Here are some of the pictures this banner was composed of. The first one is the unidentified historic ( At the very right end of the banner), then Vanity, Modern Classic, etc. Of Course the classic Heartbreaker.

Thanks everyone for the warm comments and thumbs. I worked out today in all the gardens (and mowed- again & again), but primarily in the irises. Everything seems late here this year, and the warm weather has everything popping open now, especially the SDB's. Seems like only last week it was winter! Here's one of the gardens I worked in today; it's the 'overflow' garden. What I don't want to throw away goes in here. Best wishes for a happy Mother's Day to all the ladies & Moms out there everywhere! Thumbs up
