Ann, don't know when you are getting to Wisconsin, but if you get here too soon, you won't see many irises. The TB's are just beginning for me, and they are the ones in the area near the house. I'm way on the Southern Edge of the state. I'd assume Minn. would be mostly behind us yet. Good luck!

Tom...made it to Madison and you are right. Took a walk looking at folk's yards and saw only a few short historics open but lots and lots of promising tall buds.

I am no expert, but I shovel under part of the clump and pull them apart. The ones I have are very hardy and don't seem to mind. I have never thought to cut them.
