That's why I wasn't sure, I was looking at this picture in the database as comparison. There is no close up or full bloom to compare it with. It is a nice deep pink color...am calling my second no ID until am sure next season.

This is a picture taken last summer of my Miami Rose. This plant (cutting) was purchased from Chef Mike four years ago and I can only assume it was properly labeled. I still have that original aluminum tag.

Does anyone know what became of Mike?

Mike has vanished. Can we move the discussion about Miami-Rose-or-not to another thread and go back to leis please?

Trying a new technique for making leis - still a lot to learn. Would help if I had 'pala palai' - the Hawaiian Fern. But at least I have tried the technique.

I like that look, Hetty. I don't know why, but I see very few of those cute tree frogs.
