Rustler & High Master did not bloom for me this year. I really like this group of 10!

Mary Ann, does Rustler and Copatonic have the same colors. I have C and don't want to get another of the same color. Should I grow them both?

They are very, very similar -- as you can see. If you're limited for space, then I'd not have both. If space is not an issue -- I'd be hard-pressed to eliminate one. I know -- not much help at all, am I?

Very nice photos of both, Mary Ann. I love that color in the spring garden. Perhaps I should grow one at the front and the other at the back. LOL Perhaps next year. So many irises..... so little space. sigh

Nice to see Rustler. I ordered it this year for my Country/Western bed.

Bonnie -- I love that color in the garden in the spring too. It's such a stand-out among the pinks/purples/blues/etc. Your plan sounds good to me!!

Nothing yet. Rustler, Country Dance and Los Coyotes are coming in Aug. I'm going to put War Chief in there, too. I'm hoping to get Urban Cowgirl and Owyhee Desert to go with them.

They really are a lot alike Mary Ann. Does one bloom earlier then the other? If so you could have an extended season with it if you like them.

Tom -- that is one thing that I don't keep track of -- when cultivars bloom. So -- I have to rely on memory, and I think we've established that my memory is crap!!

Copatonic blooms earlier than Rustler. But -- Copatonic is out in full sun in the fenceline bed -- Rustler is in the shady garage bed. So -- not sure my data is valid.

Bonnie -- there aren't too many Irises of that color -- if you like them both, I think your idea of one in front and one in back is a good one!!

Arlyn, I'd have to buy the block!!! Can't quite afford that. Yet.

Sue, I think we both have Plum Pretty Whiskers on our list... I don't know why that one surprised me at how much I liked it.. I bought it on the strengths of someone's opinion on another site, and am not disappointed.

I love it, it's so different from anything I have and very neat looking! I didn't see it on your list above Sherry, @Henhouse.
