It is still quite cold here but they are creatures with amazing work ethic so out they come with even a hint of sunshine. They going is arduous when it is cold, they rest more than usual and forage for all kinds of things other than nectar and pollen

Thank you for that info! I had no idea what they were doing when they crawled on the ground like that. I always thought they were sick or dieing.

Heath, I spotted it! I've seen pics off the bee, but never on. Scary! I took these pics yesterday evening, I got lucky!

I caught two Swarms Out of My swarm boxes this week

Our bees are gearing up for swarm season now.
Redbuds and apple trees are blooming not sure what else they are getting besides those two sources

I don't have hives, but I do grow a lot of bee plants, and I take notice about what they are feeding on. I have many wild cherries in my back yard, they are blooming now and covered with bees. Do you have these trees in your area?

There are several wild cherry trees growing around our property but none close to our house
Hope you will try to get some pictures of them on yours and share with us
