That'd be a decent-sized town, in these parts!!

I would dearly love to live on a beach where my nearest neighbor was 2 miles away. Close enough to hear gunshots but far enough away we never see them unless we wanted to.

I am waiting for a box. It is supposed to come in later this week. Not too many but I really like waiting for a box! This morning I dig one for shipping. So Wednesday I will be mailing a small box. smiles

I've heard from a few folks, who've received their box from me....and most should be arriving today, or tomorrow. I have two more to mail out today (if the rain ever slows down !), and that will be all for several days.

I believe I have 4 boxes coming. And my Blue J order.

I still have my Blue J, Longs, Superstition, Filardi, Rainbow, Winterberry, Stout and Dee's orders to come. Not a lot from each one, except for Dee's, but I am really excited about growing them.

When do you think that Dee will start sending her orders? I have not heard back after order confirmation. I never knew if she had to have surgery or not. I would love to order more but do not really have room. I need to get my new bed dug (hubby does) before I will be able to plant them.

She did not have to have the surgery. My understanding is that she will send in late June or July. They are having heat and rain issues too. She will email you when she does ship your order. I think I specified a time for her to ship to me but if it comes to her digging in the heat in order to ship to me... I can wait until she get a weather break. I think she may open another sale in August. Not sure yet. It will be the same ones offered for the most part. She has some beauties and at a great price. I ordered SDB's, MDB's and a few MTB's. Her smaller irises cost less than her TB's so I ordered quite a few.

Thanks, Bonnie. I guess you people will let us know if she puts her sale on Cubits when it is advertised. I hate to think of irises going to compost, especially of the quality she presented.

well I googled Snowpeak Iris, but only got a facebook, so I still don't know how to order from Dee. Does she still have a website?

Dee has officially closed her business. She still has irises growing and she tends them. She offered a sale this spring and it is now closed. She is planning on offering another sale in August. It will open and close in August so when it is announced just start looking at what she is offering. That will be the time to select what you wan and email her then.

I think she had to close it due to health reasons. Her back? People were emailing her with orders and she just a list on cubits.org. You'll know if/when she reopens.
