I recently potted up some Dolcissima Fragolino and Dolcissima Flambe. I wonder if anyone here has grown these and what your opinion is of the plants. Mine will take another week or more to really start looking decent.

I grew them from seed a few years back and they were fabulous.

Thank you Julia! When I picked up the plants it was raining, the plants were outside so I didn't spent much time selecting. The names caught my eye because I had seen them on the web so that made my very speedy decision on the purchase.

I second that. I grew the Flambe for several years from seed, and switched to the Frangolino last year, for the more intense color. I wish I had gotten them started earlier this year, my petunias feel like they are a month behind, and just starting to fill out.

Not a great picture, but this is the flambe from a few years ago, I think 3 plants in a 16" diameter planter.
