A friend made this chainsaw sculpture for me many years ago. I think I've finally found a suitable spot for him.

It is beautiful. I love the location the view makes it stand out.

Well, he's a big guy, too. That stump is probably at least 4 feet across at it's widest point. We had to have the tree taken down last year and specifically asked the trimmer to leave a nice platform to set something on. Only recently realized it was a great spot for my birdie.

You sure did find the perfect place for that glorious sculpture, it looks very impressive!

Thanks! It needs something, but it's too hot now to work out there. I'm thinking of lining the perimeter of the stump top with stones and then covering it with a layer of wood chips. Then setting a few small pots of flowers around to keep him company.

You could make "her" a nest of branches to fly into.
