Hi All, I've just gone out to take photos of the rosette of leaves featured in Photos 5, 6, and 7. They belong to Campanula persicifolia or Peach Leaved Campanula.
Thumb of 2016-04-30/HemNorth/abcb67 Basic rosette

Thumb of 2016-04-30/HemNorth/4a677b More growing together. Rooted shallowly, easy to dig out.

Thumb of 2016-04-30/HemNorth/576928 Here flower stalks are growing, with Geum Cosmopolitan, behind.

These might be what they will look like. Send a picture to let us know. Hope this helps.

Ah ha! How did you finally figure this out? Also it would be good to have a photo of the attachments of one plant to another, like in your other photos, for the DB with a note about how it increases its clump size. Just a thought. I tip my hat to you. I tip my hat to you.

I have the blue and white forms of Campanula persicifolia! I haven't seen them for a while, they are in a very shady spot and only occasionally show themselves or maybe they have disappeared by now. I'll have to check to see if I still have any and move some if I do.

Just got lost in the length of the thread and thought HemNorth started it. I see that Campanula persicifolia blooms in june/july and this thread will be one year old by then!

Well Hamilton , I am getting slower ,, ? takes as long as it takes ,
I am more sure of it being a Campanula , but the possibility of a Spurge still exists ,
Does make it interesting (for me at least ) in the comparitve photo's over time ,
as previously suggested , meaning others I realize why , Find this interesting also ,
plant ID and all

Oh it's enjoyable all right. Not a biennial though please! Rolling on the floor laughing I'm certain it's not a spurge. It would have milky sap as already suggested I think. Spurges have no runners either that I've ever heard of. June is just around the corner. Whistling
