Hans - What lovely blooms your are getting now! Such gorgeous colors!

Vickie - Oh cool! Mister Lucky is reblooming for you! Then that means it will definitely rebloom here for me! Be sure to show more photos when the flowers open! I want to see! I can't believe you found those threads! You have a good memory.

Char - I love "There's a Place". Wow! That one about knocked me over! Hurray! All of them are beautiful!

DND - I apparently don't have any as fragrant as yours. I have to stick my nose right into the blooms to even smell any that are fragrant. Nice looking Olallie Keith! Thumbs up

Yeah, I don't know why it's so fragrant. I've had two blooms on it so far, and both were the same way. I keep getting whiffs of it and it's in a container on our table outside all by itself (no other daylilies within 20 feet), so it's a pretty intense fragrance for a single bloom! I love it!

Olallie Keith looks very nice. And fragrant to boot! I am always looking for more fragrant daylilies.

Becky, I can only chalk up the rebloom to all the nice rains we have had in the past two months. The scape on Mister Lucky is still only a few inches tall, so it may be a few weeks before it blooms, but I am so excited because it is one of my very favorite daylilies.

I found the threads by going to the "Daylilies" forum and using the 'search this forum' feature. I typed in various "late" searches. There were still a lot of threads that popped up, but eventually found a few. There may be others.

Vickie - oh.

Here I thought you had this great memory! (Which I am sure you probably do!) Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious!

I forget to use that search feature most of the time. And it works very well to locate a post or article searching for a particular word or phrase. *Blush*

Royal Jester has at least 30 blooms a day.

Sandra Elizabeth is a late that is just getting started. I like that it's foliage stays nice even through it's located in a place I never water. Just a plain clear yellow that seems just right for this time of the year.

Wow Susan, you have a huge clump of Royal Jester. How long have you had it??? I have had it for 3 years and it just won't grow for me. I still only have 2 fans. Maybe I should move it to a different location.

What you see in that photo is only about half of the clump. I cropped out the other half. I think I moved it about 4 years ago and only kept a few fans.

If you want late, though, go for Olallie Keith - mine has just started blooming and I was surprised by how purple my first few blooms have been. The blooms are beautiful and they are very fragrant in my garden (I could smell the single bloom on my plant from almost a foot away).

@DogsNDaylilies Is this post the reason I couldn't find Olallie Keith in stock anywhere... 6 years later? LOL

And I didn't know about the fragrance asset! Now I'm going to search relentlessly! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

None of Olallie's Very Lates have had their inventory updated on their website, yet. It's pretty early up there in Vermont. Hopefully there will be some availability there in a few weeks.

Several spring snow storms in the past 2 weeks and days of cold wet weather has slowed down the growth on the daylilies up here. I did find Ollalie Keith listed on the Harmon Hill website reasonably priced too.

Thanks Char! Last time I looked they said S/O. Guess that was before their 2021 update. They have others I'd like too.

I'm already receiving some Huben intros from them thanks to supplying Mike with some of the daylilies he wanted for his Ecuador hybrizing plans. I love trading! Won't have time to add my haves / wants to this site for quite awhile I'm afraid. But I've already arranged a couple trades by serendipity. ๐Ÿ˜€

Thank you for the acorn! I was dubbing around checking out seller sites one of the cold cloudy days we had and remembered seeing it. Glad I could help. Trading for some of Mike's plants is a win-win for both of you. Thumbs up Hopefully Carl can send OK along with your order.
