Oh My!!! That Dome Home is soooooo cool !!!! I would love to know more ..... did you have it built? I have heard that they stay cooler inside ..... Is that true? How is the interior walls .... domed shaped inside, too, or straight vertical walls? Any inside photos you could share?
I wonder if a miniature dome home could be made for a Fairy Garden?

I don't want to hijack this posting. One of these days I'll do a "Living in a domehome" post.
But to answer questions:
We didn't build it ourselves, I met the builder at the "EcoExpo" in Los Angeles and he came up and built it for us. As far as staying cooler, well it stays cooler downstairs due to being partially underground. Upstairs in summer it gets hot and stays that way. It is made with 2x6's and double pane windows so it's well insulated. I don't have any pictures on this new computer.
